Legends: Arceus – Every Pokémon Catchable In Coronet Highlands

The Coronet Highlands is the fourth area trainers explore in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and there plenty of Pokémon to catch in this mountainous region.

The Coronet Highlands is the fourth area of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and players will encounter a wide variety of catchable Pokémon as they scale the cliffs and mountains of this region of Hisui. As players approach the peak of Mount Coronet, grasslands and rivers become more scarce, making this rocky region a great place to encounter wild Ground and Rock-Type Pokémon. Catching Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus takes more strategy than the previous games in the franchise as Pokémon roam freely throughout Hisui, allowing players to interact with them and observe their behavior rather than randomly encountering them in tall grass.

Pokémon will behave differently based on their temperament, and while some are indifferent to trainers and let them get close without any trouble, others are skittish and will try to flee. Certain species are even aggressive and will attack anyone who gets too close, making catching Pokémon in Legends: Arceus more complicated and dangerous since the trainer can now take damage directly. The Hisui region of Pokémon Legends: Arceus is much harsher than the regions of Pokémon games of the past, and players will have to tread carefully and use new tactics when catching Pokémon in the wild, such as using Berries or Smoke Bombs to make them easier to capture.

Trainers will also have to be wary of Alpha Pokémon as they explore the Coronet Highlands, which are much larger and more aggressive than regular Pokémon of their species. These massive creatures are difficult to battle and can easily cause a trainer to black out, making them an extremely challenging type of Pokémon to encounter in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. However, with an effective strategy, a good team, and an inventory full of useful items, players can not only defeat these powerful Legends: Arceus Alpha Pokémon, but they can also catch them and add them to their own team. However, if players find that they’re in over their head while fighting an Alpha Pokémon, they always have the option to simply run away and return later to try again.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus – All Pokémon In Coronet Highlands

Heracross can be caught in the Coronet Highlands in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

The mountains of Pokémon Legends: Arceus’ Coronet Highlands are home to plenty of Ground and Rock-Type Pokémon, but this mystical region also features a variety of Electric, Psychic, and Fairy-Type Pokémon as well. However, while most species of Pokémon can be found roaming at pretty much any time of the day, certain Pokémon will only appear under certain conditions. Not only that, but some Pokémon will only appear in one specific location within the region, so trainers will have to explore the area thoroughly in order to catch them all and fill Legends: Arceus’ Pokédex.

Trainers will occasionally come across Space-Time Distortions that appear at random throughout Hisui in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. These purple pocket dimensions spawn rare Pokémon that can’t typically be found in Hisui, giving players the chance to add some of the more elusive Pokémon to their Pokédex. Different Pokémon will spawn in these Space-Time Distortions depending on which area of the map they appear in, and the Coronet Highlands’ Distortions are home to some fan favorite Pokémon, such as Sylveon, Jolteon, and Gengar. However, the Pokémon that spawn in Space-Time Distortions are often much stronger than the average Legends: Arceus Hisuian Pokémon, and players will have to be prepared to face multiple tough Pokémon at once before entering. Space-Time Distortions only appear for a small window of time before they vanish again, but players will be notified when one appears nearby, and the location is marked on the Arc Phone map.

Completing the Pokédex requires players to not only encounter and catch Pokémon in the wild, but observe their behaviors and complete Research Tasks as well. As players help the Galaxy Expedition Team in Legends: Arceus compile the first-ever Pokédex, there’s a lot about these fascinating creatures that the people of Hisui have yet to discover, and it’s up to trainers to fill in the details of each entry rather than just cataloging each species. The Hisuian Pokédex is possibly the most important Pokédex in the series so far, allowing players to become some of the region’s best Pokémon researchers in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
